What you need to know to buy a Wala Hat
Your Head Circumference
To help choose the correct base size for your Wala Hat™ you will need to know your head circumference.
You may know your approximate head circumference from another fitted cap or hat you have and whilst it would be sufficient to choose your Wala Hat™ base size it won’t be accurate enough when you come to use the personalised adjuster so you need to measure your head at some point.
- To measure your head you will need a sewing tape measure, or a length of string or similar, and a ruler. If someone can help you do this, the process will be easier, but it can be done by yourself without difficulty.
- Our sizes are metric but we have imperial – US, UK comparative measurements if it makes it easier for you but we recommend using the metric sizes as they are easier to work with. Also if you require a metric ruler you can download it here and print out.
Measuring Your Head:
- Start from the middle of your forehead or just above your ear line and wrap the measure or string, while keeping it as level as possible, around your head until you come back to your starting point.
- Do a couple of times to confirm and then note down for later reference.
- When you know your head circumference, the next step is very simple – choose the Wala Hat base size that covers your measurement:
